Within Financial Services, the Hospital Financial Controller will lead essential financial operations for a 60+ bed community hospital serving northern North Carolina. The Hospital Financial Controller will collaborate closely with executive leadership and department stakeholders, with the formal reporting relationship and full scope discussed during the recruitment process. Anticipated responsibilities include overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, audit readiness, regulatory compliance, cash management, reconciliations, and performance analysis. The controller will translate complex financial information into practical guidance for nursing, medical staff, pharmacy, laboratory, imaging, therapy, case management, and other hospital departments, helping leaders improve workflows and make informed decisions without compromising clinical judgment or patient priorities.
