What You'll Do As an Air Duct Cleaning Technician, you'll perform professional HVAC and duct cleaning services while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your responsibilities include: Inspect residential and commercial HVAC systems prior to cleaning Load and maintain company vehicles with equipment, tools, and supplies Protect customer property by properly preparing work areas Clean air ducts, supply and return vents, registers, and HVAC components using specialized equipment Clean related HVAC components including blower fans, evaporator coils, drain pans, and filters when applicable Identify damaged ductwork, airflow restrictions, or HVAC concerns and communicate findings to supervisors Document work performed through photos and service reports Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operating safely Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and warehouse area Follow SERVPRO safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Deliver outstanding customer service while educating customers about the cleaning process Complete final cleanup and leave every job site in excellent condition Assist with warehouse organization and inventory as needed What We're Looking For We're looking for individuals who are dependable, motivated, and committed to doing quality work. Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment requirements HVAC, duct cleaning, restoration, construction, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred—but not required Willingness to learn specialized equipment and cleaning techniques Strong work ethic and positive attitude Excellent communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Self-motivated with attention to detail Leadership experience is a plus and offers opportunities for advancement Physical Requirements This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to: Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance Climb ladders and work from elevated heights Work in attics, crawl spaces, ceilings, and confined areas Frequently bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and carry equipment Safely operate power tools and specialized duct cleaning equipment Work around dust, debris, cleaning agents, and HVAC systems while wearing required PPE Work in varying temperatures and conditions throughout the year Why SERVPRO?
