This position is based onsite at our outpatient office located in Jacksonville, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, taking into account their physical limitations and recovery goals.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Effectively track patient progress through detailed documentation of treatments administered and outcomes observed, enabling ongoing assessments and modifications to therapy plans as necessary.
• Train patients, caregivers, and other healthcare team members in the use of adaptive devices and relevant physical therapy techniques to ensure safe and effective home exercises.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy through continuous education and participation in professional networks and workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse array of patients across different age groups and physical conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports injuries. Your role will not only focus on the physical rehabilitation of patients but also on educating them about health and wellness practices that support their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information to patients and collaborate with other healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and documentation software.
• A commitment to learning and professional development, demonstrated by ongoing education and certifications.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Flexible, adaptable, and eager to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an outpatient or similar setting is required.
• Experience in developing personalized treatment plans and conducting therapy in a patient-centric manner.
