Our client, a leader in gas & electric utilities , is hiring a Sr. Operations Support Specialist to join their team in Chester, VA ! This is a 7-month W2 contract with benefits As the Sr. Operations Support Specialist , you will provide operational leadership and technical support for field operations teams , helping drive process improvements, compliance initiatives, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement efforts across natural gas distribution operations . Responsibilities Lead process improvement initiatives focused on work execution, employee engagement, development, performance management, and operational standardization Partner with operations leadership to implement strategic operational initiatives and deliver subject matter expertise Monitor and evaluate field operations for compliance with company policies, safety standards, and federal/state regulations Analyze operational issues , develop recommendations, and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency and compliance Support the rollout and adoption of new technologies , operational processes, and policies across field operations teams Collaborate with leaders across the organization to support training initiatives, workforce planning, and operational excellence efforts Desired Skills 4–6+ years of experience in natural gas distribution field operations Experience utilizing operations support systems such as WMS, DIS, or equivalent platforms Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, including spreadsheets and reporting Working knowledge of plant/service operations policies, procedures, and applicable regulations Experience supporting training programs or leading project teams is a plus Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
