Job Store Staffing is partnering with a manufacturing company in Colorado Springs to hire a skilled, detail-oriented Precision CNC Sheet Metal Fabricator for a direct-hire role. You will interpret engineering drawings, set up equipment, and fabricate high-tolerance metal parts using CNC press brakes, punch presses, and laser cutters.

Pay Rate: $24.00 – $30.00 / hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM OR 1:30 PM – 9:00 PM)
What You’ll Do
Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, work orders, and engineering specifications.
Operate and perform setups on machinery, including CNC press brakes, CNC laser cutters, shears, hardware insertion tools, and CNC punch presses.
Perform layout, cutting, bending, forming, and assembly on aluminum and mild steel to meet tight dimensional tolerances.
Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and precision measurement tools.
Use basic hand tools including pneumatic riveters, belt sanders, drills, and taps.
Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
Perform routine machine maintenance and adhere to safety standards.
What You Need to Succeed
2 to 5+ years of precision sheet metal fabrication experience.
High proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and understanding material gauges/methods.
Hands-on skill with measurement tools, hand tools, and power equipment.
Physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for full shifts.
Strong self-management skills and strict attention to detail.
Preferred: Vocational/technical certification, experience with TRUMPF machinery, machine file software familiarity, tooling selection expertise, or background in aerospace, medical, or electronics standards.
