Reports to: Retail Operations Manager Responsibilities S how dynamic leadership ability and motivate staff to exceed expectations of the customer and our client. E nsure your department's team is set with the operation in mind: hire & recruit for new talent, integrate new team members, supervise assigned personnel, evaluate performance, develop, coach, issue documentation, and manage employee exits. D evelop training programs to train, motivate, and mentor employees. R emain knowledgeable of and manages in accordance with applicable local, state and federal laws. M aintain a clean, safe and organized work environment. U phold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures. E mbody and champion the 452 Hospitality standard by delivering warm, genuine, and memorable service to every guest and client, and coach the team to do the same. S upport store leadership in management of all inventory control programs as necessary. E nsure all company merchandise presentation standards are met to maximize sales. C omplete daily department functions in reporting daily, weekly and monthly sales through an internal Ledger. E nsure sales are maximized through having the right product and photo supplies packages and related merchandise by coordinating proper communicating inventory needs to ROM and Buyer. E nsure all cash handling procedures are in effect at all times. Troubleshoot and maintain POS functionality for daily operation or as necessary. I ssue One-Minute Meeting to team on daily basis. F orecast daily/weekly sales, complete and maintain sales analysis with respect to controllable costs for department and unit management. Support management of payroll and controllable profit within established budget. Meet & manage department payroll budget expectations by being strategic with scheduling coverage, on-call shifts, etc A nalyze sales and inventory to maximize opportunities. Identify new ways to generate sales and achieve goals. S et precedent to achieve Sales, Promo, Per Cap & Controllable Budget. P romote an inclusive & supportive approach at the Unit. S upports unit in being an example for Company & Client guidelines with regard to Sustainability/Conservation efforts. Displays knowledge of efforts in business application as well as giving adequate opportunity for teaching to unit staff as necessary. S upports SSA / Unit in driving community effort through hiring efforts, engagement activities, and focus on opportunities of giving back. S upervise and coach Photo/Retail Associates on guest photo capture techniques, product knowledge, and upselling of photo packages and add-on items. O versee daily photo operations, including equipment setup, printer and workstation maintenance, and timely resolution of equipment issues. M onitor photo sales performance, attach rate, and per-cap goals; identify opportunities to increase photo package sales through promotions and guest engagement. E nsure all photo capture, cash handling, and guest privacy procedures comply with company policy and applicable regulations. P artner with the Retail Operations Manager on photo pricing strategy, seasonal promotions, and package structure. Train new Photo/Retail Associates on photo station opening/closing procedures, POS functions, and 452 Hospitality guest engagement standards. C onduct quality checks on printed photo products to ensure presentation and quality standards are met before sale Perform other tasks as deemed necessary. Leads by example through Sustainability/Conservation efforts; displays knowledge of efforts in business application as well as giving adequate opportunity for teaching to unit staff as necessary. Job Requirements Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate to our client, Management team, Buyer and HQ personnel. Proven leadership skills with an understanding of the importance of team building/development, while fostering partnerships. Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized. Demonstrates financial management, merchandising, analytical, and planning skills. Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. Computer knowledge and skill level for basic office functions. F amiliarity with photography equipment, printing systems, and photo retail operations is a plus. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (35lbs) as necessary to operation, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above. A bility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, and prolonged standing and walking as needed. Previous Experience Two to Three years Retail Management experience preferred. Visual Merchandise experience necessary. E xperience supervising photography or photo retail operations is a plus. All education backgrounds eligible, must be 18 or older.
