Maintain and update the facility’s Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) via CERS, including accurate chemical inventory reporting, SDS management, and Proposition 65 occupational warning compliance; support CalARP program applicability evaluations and documentation as needed. Support air permit compliance with the local AQMD, including tracking permit conditions, maintaining emissions records and equipment inventories, and coordinating stack testing and monitoring with outside testing firms; assist with CARB refrigerant management program (RMP) registration, leak detection recordkeeping, and reporting as appropriate. Assist with CARB LSI fleet emissions compliance and support planning related to the Zero Emission Forklift Regulation. Maintain spill prevention and response programs, support incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensure timely regulatory notifications, and support emergency preparedness planning and drills. Support waste reduction, recycling, and pollution prevention initiatives; track environmental performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement efforts aligned with company sustainability goals. Support development and delivery of environmental compliance training (hazardous waste, HMBP, stormwater, wastewater, air, Prop 65, spill prevention); maintain training records and communicate regulatory updates to operations and manufacturing personnel. Ensure all environmental training for onsite employees is current and documented.
