Staff Accountant - Revenue
Goosehead Insurance
Job Title
Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial statement analyses
Prepare ad hoc analyses to support management decision making, including proactively identifying and delivering key insights to financial performance
Assist in the preparation of quarterly SEC filings, including preparation of supporting schedules, analyses, external documentation, and audit requests
Assist in the preparation of franchise financial statements
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to special projects designed to improve processes within the Accounting and Finance organization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives and provide guidance
Ensure accounting activities are completed with the highest level of control and integrity
Demonstrate emotional intelligence in handling potentially stressful situations, including managing competing priorities, change, tight deadlines, and conflict
