Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Salary: $180,000 - 250,000 per year Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with emphasis on infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong team-oriented approach with effective collaboration and communication skills
• Practical problem-solving ability, clear written communication, and comfort in fast-paced, high-ownership settings
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, especially Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of observability, including metrics, logs, traces, and actionable alerts or SLOs
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling
• Programming experience in at least one modern language
• Awareness of security fundamentals such as IAM, workload identity, network policies, encryption, and secrets management
• Eligible work permit in the USA
• Preferred: open source contributions
• Preferred: experience with high-growth companies, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Python, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript, and CI/CD or developer tooling

• Build and maintain core platform capabilities, including container orchestration, service mesh, ingress, and secrets management
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Security teams to deliver internal and external value
• Improve reliability through stronger observability, automated remediation, and better availability and latency
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management
• Optimize compute, storage, networking, cluster utilization, and autoscaling to support cost-effective scaling
• Create internal tooling, templates, and paved paths that improve the developer experience and speed up first deployment
• Participate in on-call coverage, handle incidents, lead post-mortems, and reduce toil and MTTR through automation
• Evolve CI/CD pipelines and environment strategies across development, staging, and production
• Use agentic AI tools in day-to-day development and help push the boundaries of agent-assisted engineering
