Desktop Support Technician

Job OpportunityCTI Staffing is partnering with a growing healthcare technology organization to find two Desktop Support Technicians for their team based in Plantation, Florida. This role exists because of team growth — the client needs technicians who are genuinely hands-on, comfortable working directly with hardware in place rather than remotely. This is not a network engineering role and not a phone/helpdesk support role. It's built for people who want to be on their feet, at the desk, solving problems in person.What You'll Do:Provide onsite, hands-on desktop and hardware support across the officePhysically inspect, troubleshoot, and repair workstation hardware issuesGet under desks and into tight workspaces to diagnose and resolve equipment problemsSupport end users directly, in person, rather than via phone queuePartner with the broader IT team as the organization scalesDocument work performed and escalate issues appropriatelyRequirements:Willingness and physical ability to crawl under desks and perform hands-on hardware inspectionGenuine hands-on desktop/hardware support experience — not primarily phone-based helpdesk or network engineeringLevel 2 support experience, ready to operate independently with minimal trainingExperience supporting Windows environmentsExperience working in Zendesk or a comparable ticketing systemComfortable troubleshooting a range of hardware (desktops, peripherals, general office equipment)Technical Environment:WindowsZendeskGeneral desktop/office hardwareWhat Success Looks Like:Physical hardware issues resolved in person, reliably and independentlyLevel 2 tickets closed without escalation, at full productivity with little to no ramp-up period
