Your Role in This Journey

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, arranging diagnostic assessments, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses collaboratively with physicians or autonomously (as per your credentialing)
• Guiding patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and managing health conditions
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in accordance with your professional scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and care management for chronic cases
• Teamwork with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure seamless, comprehensive care
• Accurately and thoroughly documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in New York State
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capability to secure them within 90 days)
