About the Position

Job Title: Rapid Response Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 Weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 48 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Med/surg/post-op experience Meditech experience Description: This position is focused on providing critical care support in a rapid response setting. The role requires strong skills in med/surg and post-operative care. Candidates must be proficient in the use of Meditech software. The ideal candidate will have experience in post-prostatectomy care and post-hysterectomy care. Pain management, including PCA and Epidural administration, is part of the responsibilities. Foley catheter maintenance is also a necessary skill for this role. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who demonstrates compassion. Flexibility and the ability to cope well in a fast-paced environment are essential. The position entails working with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1. Collaboration with a team that includes a charge nurse, several staff nurses, and technicians is expected.
