Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license for the state of Texas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, comprehensive assessments, and ongoing evaluations of students’ speech and language needs
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide targeted therapy services
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to address each student’s progress
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Utilize creative, evidence-based therapy techniques to foster student engagement
• Participate in IEP meetings and recommend modifications or accommodations as needed
