Registered Nurse - Pediatric Oncology

Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
Responsibilities
Provide specialized care in Medical Oncology, Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplant unit
Monitor cardiac and respiratory functions for pediatric patients
Manage patient ratios: 1:2 for BMT, 1:3 for Chemo, max 1:4 based on acuity
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Level I Trauma teaching facility
Requirements
Minimum 2 years Pediatric RN experience
Minimum 2 years Hematology/Oncology/BMT experience
Experience with ports and central line access/care
Prior travel experience
Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), APHON Chemo/Bio Certification
Preferred Skills
CPHON Certification
BMT Certification
Benefits
Every other weekend off (Friday & Saturday nights)
No on-call required
Must work at least 1 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
Float to Levels 6, 8, 9, 10, CPCU, NICU, North Campus, South Campus
Medical/religious flu exemption requests allowed
