We boldly go. Where is the work: On-Site (5 days) Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in Tyler, TX! In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements. What you will do: · Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning. · Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations. · Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality. · Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times. · Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs. · Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development. · Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration). · Design and develop processes for factory transformation projects and equipment implementation. · Improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy consumption, and downtime reduction. · Provide technical/subject matter expertise and guidance for the resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems. · Serve as a resource for cause/effect investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning. Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality. · This role will have a focus on productivity, projects, and reducing waste and costs. What you will bring: · Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. · PFMEA experience preferred. · Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design. · AutoCAD or similar design software experience · Aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes. · Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design · Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships. · Growth mindset – desire to expand technical skillset. · Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus. · Degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines preferred. Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $77,963.33 - $109,340.00 Compensation Type: Salary Incentive Eligible: No Sales Commission Eligible: No Disclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
