Warehouse specialist

We are looking for an above-average Forklift Operator with intermediate computer proficiency-including inventory control, MS Excel, and WMS experience. Prior warehouse lead experience is strongly preferred as we look for candidates ready to step up and drive operational excellence.


salary: $41,600 - $43,650 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Act as a coach and mentor to floor staff; delegate daily tasks and provide hands-on training for new hires.
• Inventory Integrity: Oversee cycle counting and inventory control processes to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Operations: Navigate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track shipments and manage workflow, oversee shipping and receiving areas
• Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Performance: Drive productivity in a high-volume environment while maintaining high quality-control standards. Act as a coach and mentor and train new employees.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
