Cable Technician

Perform fiber ribbon splicing on high-count cables in active data center environments Complete ribbon splicing, including spider ribbon fiber, on tight timelines Prep and splice large cable counts as they arrive on site Work efficiently to meet daily splice production expectations Move between job sites as project needs shift Technical Requirements: Fiber splicing experience with the following cable configurations: 8x64 (minimum required) or 69x13 Experience with ribbon splicing or closely related splicing methods Experience prepping cables including: 17/28, 8/64, 69/12, 34/56 Familiarity with data center fiber environments strongly preferred Requirements Minimum 2 years of fiber splicing experience Ability to produce approximately 90-144 ribbon splices per day For candidates who are not local to Dallas or San Antonio, TX housing will be paid for, and you will also receive $68 per diem for each day you work.
