Staff Accountant | STV The Tone: This is a hybrid Staff Accountant role at STV, located in Douglassville, PA or Philadelphia, PA, requiring three days per week in the office. STV is a prominent company within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry, and this position is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records. As a key member of the corporate accounting team, the Staff Accountant ensures precise data compilation, analysis, and reporting, directly supporting the financial health and operational integrity of the organization. Tech Stack: Power BI (preferred) What You’ll Actually Do Financial Reporting: Ensure the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data and revenue. Monthly Packages: Prepare essential reports required for the monthly reporting package. Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Conduct balance sheet reconciliations in full accordance with established accounting policies and procedures. Joint Venture Records: Work collaboratively with the Manager to maintain the financial records of managed joint ventures. Accounting Support: Assist with various accounting tasks, including posting journal entries, processing cash applications, posting invoices, and performing vendor maintenance and validation. The Must-Haves Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; considered an Early-Career professional. Experience: Relevant experience, with highly preferred experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry. Skills: Strong communication abilities, flexibility to constantly learn and adapt, and proficiency in data analysis and financial reconciliation.
