Qualifications: At least one of the following qualifications is required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a relevant major Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university with a relevant major and two (2) years of relevant experience High school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of relevant experience with progressive increase in responsibilities Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting *Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate. Performance Responsibilities: Accounts for the revenues and expenditures of the School Board by properly recording and classifying financial transactions. Maintains the general ledger on a fund account basis. Maintains the daily cash position of the School Board. Assists with financial reporting as appropriate. Assists in preparation of the budget as needed. Assists with reporting on State and Federal Projects. Reconciles monthly bank statements. Assists with the preparation of the Annual Indirect Cost Report. Assists with the compilation of the Annual Cost Report. Assists with the preparation of the Annual Financial Report. Provides financial information to external auditors. Performs other job-related functions as assigned.
