Snelling Staffing is hiring an experienced Estimator in Bryan, TX. This position is with a well-established metal fabrication company. The ideal candidate will have estimating experience in metals, steel fabrication, structural steel, miscellaneous steel, or a related field.

Position Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, plans, specifications, and project details
• Prepare accurate estimates for fabrication projects
• Perform material takeoffs
• Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and project costs
• Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing
• Communicate with customers, project managers, and internal team members
• Assist with bid preparation and proposal development
• Track project details and maintain organized estimating records

Requirements:

• Estimating experience required
• Metals, fabrication, structural steel, or miscellaneous steel experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Good communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
• Experience with fabrication, construction, or industrial projects preferred

Pay:

Salary is negotiable based on experience. Previous salary range for this type of role was around $80,000, depending on qualifications.
