Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience teaching students with disabilities across a range of needs
• Strong knowledge of current special education laws, practices, and IEP process
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for partnering with families, staff, and administration
• Ability to adapt instruction and classroom management to support individualized student growth
• Comfortable using technology and assistive devices in the classroom

Core Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver standards-based lessons aligned to student IEP goals
• Assess student progress and participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of individualized programs
• Modify classroom materials and teaching approaches to meet student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment
• Track and document student performance, communicating progress regularly to relevant stakeholders
• Encourage self-advocacy, independence, and social development among students
