Travel Registered Nurse (RN): Telemetry

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care and demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population while utilizing advanced medical technology.

Position Details

• Department: Telemetry
• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Unit Capacity: 24 beds

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo medical equipment
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system is preferred

Patient Care Responsibilities

As a Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and assessing patients with generalized cardiac conditions
• Providing pre- and post-care for cardiac catheterizations (groin and radial approaches)
• Managing patients diagnosed with chest pain, atrial fibrillation, and congestive heart failure
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

This position is situated in a family-oriented unit that emphasizes teamwork and professional growth. The typical patient population includes adults and seniors requiring specialized cardiac care.

Scrub colors are flexible; any color scrubs are acceptable.
