Position Summary

Hengst North America is seeking an Account Analyst to join our growing North American Aftermarket team. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional who enjoys working with data, solving business problems, and building strong customer relationships

This role combines data analysis, account management, and customer-facing communication . You'll analyze sales, inventory, pricing, and market data to identify opportunities and make recommendations that help customers grow their business.

You won't be selling products — you'll use data to understand what customers need, where opportunities exist, and how Hengst can help them capture additional sales.

We're looking for a junior, high-potential professional who combines analytical ability with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

Required

• 1+ year of experience in sales, customer support, or another customer-facing business role
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
• Bachelor's degree or higher

Preferred

• Automotive aftermarket experience is

  strongly

  preferred.
• Experience in supply chain, inventory, finance, business analysis, or customer service.
• Experience with pricing, RFQs, forecasting, or cost analysis.
• Experience working in an auto parts store, automotive shop, distributor, or related environment.

Success Metrics

The right person is analytical, personable, polished, and eager to learn . You should be comfortable spending part of your day digging into spreadsheets and the other part presenting your findings to a customer.

Automotive aftermarket experience is a plus, but we're also open to candidates with strong backgrounds in supply chain, inventory, finance, sales, or customer service who have the analytical and interpersonal skills to succeed.
