Senior Tax Accountant

Benefits of Working With Us * Positive, friendly, and energized work environment * Tax season and holiday bonuses * Daily collaboration with experienced team members * Direct communication and relationship-building with clients * Flexible schedule that supports work/life balance * Average hours: 50 during tax season / 40 outside of tax season * Significant career growth opportunities within the firm * Firm-provided CPE * Open-door policy for guidance and questions * Clear opportunities for advancement Responsibilities * Prepare and review a wide range of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with a focus on accuracy and compliance * Apply federal, state, and local tax codes to ensure clients receive the maximum benefit * Provide proactive tax planning strategies * Stay current on changes in tax law and public accounting standards * Manage, train, and mentor tax staff * Review financial statements and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy * Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries * Review and respond to client comments and feedback Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or EA preferred * Minimum of 3 years of tax experience * Strong tax preparation and public accounting background with solid regulatory knowledge * Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills * Strong understanding of financial statement preparation * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines * Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (Drake Tax preferred but not required) * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly Join Us Become a key contributor in a supportive environment where your expertise directly enhances our clients' financial outcomes—and where you can continue to advance your career as a senior professional.
