This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance professional looking to further develop their skills and grow within a respected property management company.Compensation & SchedulePay: 21.00-23.00 per hour, plus benefits (based on experience)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMParticipation in an on-call rotation as neededIf you're an experienced maintenance professional who takes pride in quality work and enjoys making a difference in the communities you serve, apply today and grow your career with GSF Properties!Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative and maintenance and repair work in areas including, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.Complete assigned service requests and repairs in accordance with company operating procedures and standards.Assist in preparing vacant apartments to ensure they are market-ready and meet company quality standards.Maintain community grounds and curb appeal and trash management.Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies as neededMaintain good public relations with residents and vendorsAssist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action itemsReport violations of lease and house rulesTimely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant's maintenance needs are being metWork with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary suppliesMaintaining excellent curb appealHelp maintaining excellent curb appealGSF Benefits:MedicalDentalVisionEmployee assistance program401KLife insuranceHolidaysVacationJob Requirements for Maintenance Technician II:Minimum 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience.Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance.Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing maintenance issues independently.Experience completing work orders, unit turns, inspections, and preventative maintenance.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong customer service and communication skills.Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based applications.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
