They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.About The RoleAs a Receiving Specialist supporting SpaceXAI data center operations, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely receipt, inspection, and processing of high-value materials and equipment (servers, GPUs, networking gear, power systems, cooling infrastructure, and other critical components). You will ensure incoming shipments are verified, transacted, labeled, and staged correctly to support construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.ResponsibilitiesReceive all materials/packages and transact receipts in the ERP/WMS system; process hold or exception packages as requiredVerify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantities, and specificationsCreate/print routing labels and other required identifiers for received materialFile and maintain accurate records of incoming paperwork and documentationInterface with carriers, internal customers, purchasing, and other departments to resolve discrepancies, delays, or issues related to receipt and distributionDocument non-conformance occurrences in accordance with prescribed proceduresPerform cycle counts and review stagnant inventory reports to ensure location accuracyCollaborate with internal teams to coordinate return shipments and reverse logisticsOperate forklifts and powered industrial equipment per safety proceduresMaintain good housekeeping in receiving and staging areasSupport material flow to construction and operations teams, including kitting and staging as neededBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate3+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing, or manufacturing environmentPreferred Skills And Experience3+ years of experience in a receiving roleExperience in a high-volume manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, technology, or data center environmentExperience with ERP systems and scanning equipment (RF scanner, handheld scanner, etc.)Experience operating a forklift and other powered industrial equipmentExperience with the control of nonconforming hardware and related processesStrong computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft suiteExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAdditional RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted; frequent lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying requiredMust be available for one of the following 12.5-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:30 AMWork schedule follows a rotating pattern of 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off (and repeating)Must be open to working all required shift hours, including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed to support 24/7 operationsMust be able to stand/walk for the majority of the shiftComfortable working in warehouse/data center environments with varying temperatures, noise, and dustSpaceXAI is an equal opportunity employer.
