Position Summary SALTA is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to work closely with the Director of Finance and support the accounting and financial operations of our growing healthcare organization. This position is responsible for financial reporting, general accounting, month-end close, payroll support, internal controls, and multi-entity accounting. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and produce accurate, timely work. This person will be comfortable taking ownership, solving problems and collaborating with others in a growing organization. Responsibilities Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules. Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, accrued expenses, fixed assets, and other balance-sheet accounts. Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities and locations. Monitor healthcare-related revenue, collections, expenses, and operating metrics. Learn SALTA’s payroll systems and procedures. Assist with payroll processing, reconciliations, deductions, taxes, benefit activity, and payroll-related journal entries. Serve as a trained backup for payroll processing. Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and employee financial records. Support internal controls, financial policies, audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements. Work with external vendors, auditors, financial institutions, and other partners. Identify and help implement improvements to accounting, payroll, and reporting processes. Complete additional accounting and financial responsibilities assigned by the Director of Finance. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. At least five years of finance, accounting, or related experience. Experience working in a multi-entity business. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliations. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting software. Ability and willingness to learn payroll administration. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work on-site at SALTA’s Troy office for the initial 90-day training period. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare finance or accounting experience. Payroll processing or payroll accounting experience. Experience with consolidated reporting and intercompany accounting. Work Arrangement This is a full-time, salaried position. The Finance Manager will work on-site at SALTA’s Troy office for the first 90 days for onboarding and training.
