A leading Central Florida surgical team is hiring an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) to support an expanding heart and vascular program in the Orlando metro area. This position provides exposure to open-heart, thoracic, and hybrid vascular procedures, as well as opportunities to circulate in general operating room cases. You will work in a state-of-the-art surgical suite designed for collaboration, precision, and innovation, surrounded by a multidisciplinary team committed to quality and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive perioperative care for adult cardiac and vascular surgery patients, circulating and scrubbing in for open-heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures, ensuring the OR environment is properly prepared with instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and perfusionists to deliver safe, efficient procedures, monitoring and documenting patient status throughout surgery, participating in call rotation and responding to call-ins within 30 minutes, and educating patients and families on preoperative preparation and postoperative recovery.

Qualifications include a current RN license (Florida or Compact State; Florida endorsement required within 60 days of relocation), minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience in an acute care hospital, an associate degree or diploma in nursing (BSN preferred), BLS certification (within 30 days of hire), and ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire). Preferred qualifications include CNOR or cardiovascular specialty certification and experience with hybrid OR or structural heart procedures.
