Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY

Duration - 13 Weeks

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a hospital-based diagnostic imaging department. The ideal candidate will have CT imaging experience, strong patient care skills, and the ability to perform high-quality diagnostic examinations in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule

• Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License/Registration
• Minimum 1 year of CT or MRI experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment health requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens CT scanners preferred
• Experience in an acute care hospital environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and diagnostic radiology examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures and provide excellent patient care throughout the exam process.
• Select appropriate imaging techniques and exposure factors to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and patient protection guidelines.
• Operate CT and imaging equipment efficiently and report equipment issues as needed.
• Document procedures accurately within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards.
