Family Nurse Practitioner

A physician-owned multi-location primary care clinic in Cumming, Georgia is hiring a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner to work directly alongside the physician owner — not a corporate group, not a middleman, just you and the person setting clinical direction working beside each other every day. Full-spectrum family medicine from age 5 through geriatrics, across a multicultural patient panel spanning acute presentations, chronic disease management, and preventive care. Mondays and Tuesdays plus alternating Saturdays. Phone-only call. CME allowance and dedicated CME days included. Key Responsibilities Provide primary care across the lifespan from pediatric through geriatric patients (age 5 and up) Diagnose and manage acute presentations and chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and thyroid disease Perform well visits, preventive screenings, and health maintenance Order and interpret laboratory studies and imaging; coordinate specialty referrals Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care Document encounters accurately in eClinicalWorks Collaborate with physician owner on complex or ambiguous presentations Participate in shared phone call rotation Qualifications Active Georgia APRN license and FNP board certification required 1–2 years of NP experience preferred; RN experience considered case by case New FNP graduates with prior primary care or med-surg experience considered case by case Comfortable caring for patients across the full age range including children age 5 and up eClinicalWorks experience preferred; willingness to learn accepted Strong communication skills and collaborative approach in a small practice setting Schedule & Compensation $60–$70/hour | 1099 independent contractor Part-time | Mondays and Tuesdays plus alternating Saturdays Phone-only call; no in-person call responsibility CME allowance and dedicated CME days Note: Licensure costs are the candidate's responsibility; no sign-on bonus, relocation, or malpractice coverage offered Immediate hire The application and hiring process for this position will be managed through NPHire, a nurse practitioner and physician assistant job board connecting APPs with top opportunities nationwide. #J-18808-Ljbffr NPHire
