Heavy Equipment OperatorLocation: Franklin, MACompany: AerotekPay: $30/hourSchedule: Full-TimeJob Type: Long-Term Commercial ConstructionOverviewAerotek is hiring experienced Lull Operators for commercial wood-frame construction projects in the Greater Boston area. This role combines operating a lull forklift with hands-on framing support on active multi-family construction sites. Candidates will assist framing crews, move materials, and support day-to-day construction operations while working on large-scale residential and commercial projects.Responsibilities• Safely operate a lull forklift and other assigned equipment on commercial construction sites• Move, lift, and place lumber, wall panels, and construction materials for framing crews• Assist with wood framing and general labor tasks when not operating equipment• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure proper material placement• Support construction on multi-family housing, assisted living, townhome, hotel, and apartment projects• Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns• Coordinate with supervisors, framers, and other trades to maintain project schedules• Follow all site safety requirements and equipment operating procedures• Maintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements• 2A-1C Hoisting License (REQUIRED)• Experience operating a lull forklift on commercial construction sites• Previous commercial construction experience• Ability to read and work from blueprints and construction drawings• Comfortable performing both equipment operation and hands-on labor tasks• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices• Ability to work outdoors in an active construction environmentWhy Apply?• Long-term opportunity with a respected framing contractor• Work on large-scale multi-family and commercial construction projects• Competitive pay and consistent hours• Gain experience with complex wood-frame construction methods• Opportunity to work alongside experienced framing professionals• Exposure to modern construction techniques and advanced building systems• Career growth potential within a growing commercial construction companyJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, MA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
