Job Overview

We are seeking a flexible and experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse to join a Float Pool team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care while rotating across multiple medical-surgical units, supporting staffing needs and ensuring consistent, patient-centered care.

This is a dynamic position ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, teamwork, and working in different clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple Med-Surg units
• Perform nursing assessments, diagnosis, and care planning
• Advocate for patients and ensure safe, quality care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records
• Adapt quickly to different units and patient populations

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year current Med-Surg acute care RN experience (required)
• Must currently be working in Med-Surg (required)
• Active Florida RN license or Compact license (must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating)
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Comfortable with 7:1 patient ratio and floating across units
• Must live within 60 minutes of facility

Schedule

• Full-Time
• 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Days (7A–7P) or Nights (7P–7A)
• Rotating weekends

Compensation & Benefits

• Flat Rate Pay: $43/hour (all experience levels)
• Shift Differentials: $4.25 (Nights), $3 (Weekends)
• Sign-On Bonus: Case by case
• Relocation Assistance: Case by case
