OnSite Staffing Coordinator - 2nd shift

Job Details: Level: Experienced. Job Location: Houston, TX 77079. Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 Hourly. Shift: 2nd shift - 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm. Contract to Hire. TMC Staffing is seeking an Onsite Staffing Coordinator to act as a bridge between TMC and our client company, working directly at the client warehouse to manage a high-volume contract workforce. Core Responsibilities Workforce Management: Oversee daily operations, including shift check‑ins, attendance tracking, and conducting daily "start‑up" meetings. Recruitment & Onboarding: Source, screen, and interview candidates for open roles, then manage their orientation and safety training. Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client's management team to anticipate staffing needs and resolve operational issues. Payroll & Administration: Audit timekeeping records and maintain accurate employee files. Performance & Safety: Conduct floor walkthroughs to ensure safety compliance (PPE); manage employee relations (coaching, counseling) and handle workers' compensation incidents. Reporting: Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly staffing reports regarding headcount, turnover, and productivity. Qualifications / Key Skills & Qualifications Experience: Requires 1–2 years in staffing, recruitment, or supervisory roles within a fast‑paced environment like logistics or production. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills are vital for mediating between workers and management. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates preferred. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is required.
