Location: Colorado Springs, CO - Two Clinic Locations


Pay: $18 - $21 / hour


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM


Employment Type: Temporary Contract through approximately December


Benefits: This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.


About Our Client


Addison Group is hiring for our client, a busy specialty physician practice in Colorado Springs , seeking Medical Assistants to provide temporary clinical coverage.


This is a great opportunity for an experienced MA or a newly certified Medical Assistant looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced specialty practice. Strong performers may also have the opportunity to be considered for future openings as they become available.


Position Overview


The Medical Assistant will work alongside providers and clinical staff to support daily patient care and maintain an efficient clinic flow.


This is a high-volume environment , with the busiest clinic days seeing up to approximately 200 patients across the practice. Candidates should be comfortable working at a quick pace while maintaining accuracy and providing a positive patient experience.


Team members may work at either of two nearby Colorado Springs locations depending on coverage needs. Clinic assignments are typically communicated approximately one week in advance.


Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
• Obtain and document vital signs
• Review and update patient medical histories
• Prepare exam rooms for daily appointments
• Assist providers and clinical staff throughout the patient visit
• Help maintain efficient patient flow during high-volume clinic days
• Accurately document patient information
• Provide professional and compassionate patient support
• Assist with additional clinical responsibilities as assigned
• Travel between assigned Colorado Springs clinic locations based on scheduled coverage needs

Qualifications


Candidates should meet one of the following :

• Medical Assistant certification, including newly certified candidates with limited professional experience, OR
• Previous hands-on Medical Assistant or clinical experience

Additional qualifications include:

• Medical Assistant certification is preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experience
• Previous physician practice or specialty clinic experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while moving quickly
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to learn new workflows and processes quickly
