As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Thur - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Fri - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sat - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sun - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity; verify access credentials and follow site procedures for directing guests and reporting access-related issues. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken in accordance with site policies. Prepare clear and accurate reports of daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
