Quotations Specialist - LFG Manufacturing

Our growing LINK Fabricated Gear (LFG) division is looking for a go-getter to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for custom switchgear and electrical equipment projects. With our engineering expertise, collaboration, and customer partnerships, LFG was created to drive innovation in switchgear manufacturing and design. While working in our fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this person will collaborate with other departments to deliver solutions that keep our company ahead of the industry! Responsibilities Estimate Development: Review blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate time, material, and labor estimates for switchgear projects Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with the Engineering and Production Teams to ensure designs are practical and align with LFG’s manufacturing capabilities Quotations & Proposals: Generate professional, competitive proposals that meet customer requirements while supporting profitability and long-term partnerships Vendor & Supplier Relations: Issue RFQs, secure competitive pricing, negotiate with suppliers, and recommend alternatives when appropriate Customer Engagement: Work with Sales to strategize on bids, clarify requirements, and support customers through the quoting process Value Engineering: Identify opportunities to optimize designs and reduce costs without sacrificing quality or performance Tracking & Reporting: Maintain historical cost databases, supplier information, and ensure accurate documentation for all bids and proposals Follow-Up: Track open quotes, support transition from awarded projects, and provide input on post-project reviews.
