About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BSN, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Ability to float to different facilities as needed - Charge experience preferred - Experience with Epic charting system required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Operating Room nursing. This position requires 10-hour days on a variable schedule. Shifts will include options between 06:45 and 21:15 based on department needs. The focus of this role is to provide care in a multidisciplinary team setting. The Pediatric OR involves a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties. Candidates must have experience in the Pediatric OR, such as General OR and Trauma care. This role may require occasional weekend shifts. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment and ensuring quality patient care. Potential candidates should have experience working with neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. Additional skills in various surgical techniques and patient monitoring are highly valued. Experience in community hospitals and trauma centers is preferred. The ability to respond effectively to emergencies is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also crucial for this position.
