About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Current RN License Certifications: BSN, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Ability to float to other facilities as needed Description: The role involves providing care in a pediatric operating room setting. Candidates should be available for variable shifts starting at either 6:45 AM or 8:45 AM. A multidisciplinary team-based approach is emphasized in this position. The candidate will work primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. Experience in pediatric general operating room or cardiovascular operating room is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for this role. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is required. Candidates should have experience in trauma and be able to handle a variety of pediatric surgical procedures. The patient population includes neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. The facility will focus on general surgery, neurology, orthopedic, urology, and other specialties. The candidate will be expected to adhere to strict compliance with protocols and safety measures. Training modules will be required and may vary in length. References from previous employers are required.
