Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' relational dynamics and emotional challenges, ensuring an understanding of their unique therapeutic needs. \n Develop individualized treatment plans that set realistic, measurable goals tailored to each client's circumstances, integrating a variety of therapeutic modalities. \n Utilize family systems theory and evidence-based interventions to address complexities in relationship dynamics, improve communication, and alleviate family stressors. \n Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and emotional well-being of clients and their families during high-stress situations. \n Maintain comprehensive and confidential electronic records that document client progress, treatment objectives, and compliance with relevant ethical and legal standards. \n Educate clients on effective communication, conflict resolution, and coping skills to enhance their emotional resilience and relationship satisfaction. \n Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, including making referrals to specialists when needed. \n Engage in ongoing professional development and training focused on the latest advances in marriage and family therapy and telehealth practices. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families facing a myriad of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and life transitions. Your ability to provide empathetic and effective teletherapy will be crucial in facilitating their journey towards improved mental health. You will have the opportunity to employ culturally sensitive approaches that respect and acknowledge the individual backgrounds of each client. Qualifications\n \n Valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Connecticut. \n A Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. \n Expertise in using telehealth technology and virtual platforms for delivering therapy. \n Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills suited for effective virtual interactions with clients. \n A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and confident confidentiality in all therapeutic practices. \n A proven ability to work autonomously in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and accountability. \n Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients in different time zones. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience in a remote teletherapy role, providing therapy through video conferencing or similar platforms. \n Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to couples and family therapy. \n Knowledge of local resources for referrals, community support, and crisis intervention specific to Connecticut. \n Compensation and Benefits\n This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
