Hospice Registered Nurse

Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice Department: Home Health – Skilled Nursing Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Variable Shift | 1st 8-Hour Shift Weekly Hours: 40 Start Date: June 22, 2026 – September 20, 2026 We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN Hospice. The Hospice RN will deliver skilled nursing care to hospice patients in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, and hospice philosophy standards. This role requires clinical expertise, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to support both patients and their loved ones through challenging transitions. Key Responsibilities Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans Administer medications, treatments, and symptom management interventions Coordinate care with physicians, social workers, chaplains, therapists, and caregivers Educate families on disease progression, comfort measures, and patient support Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and families Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, standards, and best practices Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning Qualifications Required Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license Graduate of an accredited nursing program Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Ability to work independently in home health settings Preferred Hospice or home health nursing experience BLS certification Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) #J-18808-Ljbffr
