Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care

About the Role

Hilltop Primary Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in Pike County, Kentucky. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and make a lasting impact on the health of the community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and preventive health screenings
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice
• Educate patients and their families about disease prevention, treatment options, and long-term health management
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Kentucky APRN license
• Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one
• Primary care, family medicine, or related clinical experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• A genuine commitment to patient advocacy and compassionate care
