Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
• Verify insurance eligibility and process authorizations and referrals
• Collect co-pays, process payments, and manage billing inquiries
• Maintain and update accurate patient records in the EHR/EMR system
• Answer and triage incoming phone calls, directing inquiries to appropriate staff
• Ensure front office compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies

Requirements:

• 1+ years of front office or medical receptionist experience in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software
• Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pays, and referral processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical office procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus
