We offer career opportunities in print and mail production, with medical, dental, vision insurance and a competitive 401K.Location: 605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440 Work Hours: 12 hour shifts 3 - 3, with expected additional hours/weekends mandatory Pay: Starting at $26 per hourThe Set-Up Operator is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining multiple types of lettershop inserting systems, including MPS, APS, and Epic equipment. This role ensures accurate, efficient, and high-quality mail production while meeting client specifications and production deadlinesWhat you'll be doing:Set up and operate MPS, APS, and Epic inserting systems for a variety of direct mail and transactional jobsReview and interpret job tickets, specifications, and production schedulesConfigure machine components including feeders, folders, inserters, cameras, and conveyorsLoad materials such as envelopes, inserts, and forms into equipmentPerform test runs and calibrate machines to ensure proper alignment, folding, inserting, and sealingMonitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues such as jams, double feeds, or misreadsEnsure accuracy of mail pieces, including correct matching and sequencing when applicableVerify jobs meet USPS regulations and client quality standardsConduct routine maintenance and minor mechanical adjustmentsDocument production data, downtime, and quality checksCollaborate with supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teamsMaintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety proceduresWho you are:Experience operating MPS, APS, Epic, or similar lettershop inserting equipment preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and follow detailed instructions and job specificationsBasic computer skills for machine interfaces and reporting systemsHigh attention to detail and quality controlAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environmentGood communication and teamwork skillsHigh school diploma or GED requiredSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneWork Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facilityPhysical Demands:Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reachingMust be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 poundsPerform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environmentSecurity Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
