Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (ASCP) with Blood Bank experience to join a highly respected acute care hospital in the Kansas City area. Key Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing
• Process and analyze blood and body fluid specimens
• Perform Blood Bank testing and troubleshooting
• Review, verify, and report laboratory results
• Maintain quality control and laboratory compliance standards
• Assist with staff training and laboratory operations
• Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related science required
• ASCP Certification (or equivalent) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Blood Bank experience in an acute care hospital laboratory
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and quality control practices
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
