Their primary responsibilities involve aiding employees in performing daily living activities that they would typically handle independently if they did not have a disability. These services include assistance with dressing, eating, using the restroom, and mobility support such as pushing wheelchairs or helping with vehicle transfers. In addition, CMAs may also provide specialized support like reader services, sighted guidance, and scheduling assistance to ensure that employees with disabilities can fully concentrate on their duties and responsibilities while at work.
