Carexus Health Diagnostics Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urgent Care to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This is an onsite position where you will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a focus on providing urgent care services in a supportive environment. You will collaborate closely with a team of five physicians and five nurse practitioners committed to excellence in patient care. Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner in our Urgent Care practice, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess patients’ medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests and imaging such as X-rays, to inform patient care decisions.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various acute and chronic health conditions.
• Prescribe medications within your scope of practice, ensuring the correct dosage and patient education on their use.
• Maintain meticulous health records, treatment plans, and patient schedules to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive health measures.
• Advocate for patient health by promoting wellness and disease prevention strategies.
• Engage in professional development and continuous education to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on a diverse patient population seeking urgent care for a range of health issues, from minor injuries to chronic illness management. You will tailor your approach to meet patients' immediate health requirements while teaching them about preventive practices for better long-term health outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Nursing with a concentration in Nurse Practitioner studies.
• A valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas.
• Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is required.
• A valid DEA number for prescribing medications.
• Excellent communication abilities to connect effectively with patients and team members.
• A strong ethical foundation and dedication to patient confidentiality and care standards.

Preferred Experience

Successful candidates will have:

• Proven experience in an urgent care, primary care, or emergency department setting, demonstrating expertise in acute, chronic, and preventive care.
• A solid understanding of health care regulations, patient care standards, and quality improvement processes.
• A bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred to better serve our diverse patient population.
• Strong teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
