Material Handler - 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Position: Material Handler
Shift: 1st Shift
Job Summary We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler to join our 1st Shift team. The Material Handler is responsible for moving, storing, organizing, and tracking materials and products throughout the manufacturing facility.This position plays an important role in maintaining an efficient workflow and ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations safely and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, physically capable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Move and deliver materials to the appropriate locations throughout the facility.
• Organize and maintain inventory in an efficient manner.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material records.
• Verify quantities and materials as needed.
• Keep loading docks, aisles, and staging areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect and maintain material-handling equipment as required.
• Clean and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Assist with general warehouse and manufacturing support activities.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Previous material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
