Human Resources Generalist

Hybrid Only Position – Based in Carmel, Indiana. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Execute full‑cycle recruiting for staff‑level and some management/senior‑level hires, manage requisitions, source candidates, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, applicant testing, background and reference checks, present finalists and offers, prepare new hire paperwork, and ensure proper orientation and onboarding. Employee Records & HR Administration: Maintain personnel and recruiting files per company and legal requirements, conduct ongoing data entry and maintenance in the automated HR system, develop and distribute reports for HR projects, respond to employee and manager inquiries on policies and programs, and administer all company HR policies for assigned locations. Employee Relations: Handle general employee relations issues as they arise, assist managers with pay rate determinations, process terminations including HR documentation, conduct exit interviews, and complete related activities. HR Operations & Special Projects: Assist HR Manager with change, new hire, and termination documentation; manage approvals and payroll deadlines; support special projects, acquisition activities, audit preparation, employee event planning, timesheet review, and temporary staffing agency relationships. Skills & Experience 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent education/experience. Minimum of 2 years of HR experience. Understanding and application of job‑related policies, procedures, and best practices. Clear and professional communication, confidentiality, and good judgment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze information and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, legal requirements, and technical changes affecting the business. Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Prior experience with Workday preferred but not required. Benefits Hybrid Schedule: 2 days work from home and 3 days in office. Strong learning culture with ongoing development opportunities.
