Key Responsibilities: Facilitate engaging therapeutic group sessions for children and adolescents that support treatment goals and encourage personal growth. Create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where participants feel comfortable sharing experiences and developing new skills. Lead group discussions, activities, and interventions designed to promote positive behavioral health outcomes. Encourage active participation and meaningful engagement from all group members. Prepare session plans and review client information to ensure appropriate and effective group facilitation. Manage group dynamics by establishing boundaries, promoting respect, and addressing conflicts appropriately. Document session activities, participant engagement, progress, and notable concerns in a timely manner. Evaluate group effectiveness and identify opportunities to strengthen client outcomes. Collaborate and communicate with treatment team members regarding client progress and care needs. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable privacy, documentation, and regulatory requirements. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance clinical and facilitation skills. Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, or a related field preferred. Additional Qualifications: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced behavioral health setting. Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children, adolescents, and families achieve positive outcomes.
