BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Adult Behavioral Health King Heile! Mental Health Technician Position Details: Facility: Adult Behavioral Health King Heile Location: New Port Richey , FL Status: Full time, Hourly Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Weekend Work: Every Other On Call: No The Mental Health Technician Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing. Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients. Required Certification/Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred Patient Care Technician - preferred Required Education: High School or Equivalent Associate's degree in related field - Preferred Bachelor's degree in related field- Preferred Required Experience: 6 months – Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field Benefits: Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision) Paid time off Tuition reimbursement 401k match and additional yearly contribution Yearly performance appraisals and team award bonus Community discounts and more AND the chance to be part of an amazing team and a great place to work Come join our wonderful team!
